EverNorth Insurance Services Inc. is licensed as a general insurance agency and is regulated by the insurance regulator of each province and territory in which it is authorised to transact business. Licence details are available on request.

Our advisors are individually licensed and complete continuing education requirements set by their regulator.

How we are compensated

EverNorth is generally compensated by the insurer that underwrites your policy. Compensation arrangements can include commission and, in some cases, contingent arrangements tied to the overall performance of a book of business.

Compensation details relating to your policy are available on request, and no compensation arrangement changes the coverage you are quoted.

Complaint resolution

If something has gone wrong, tell us in writing and we'll acknowledge your concern and assign it to a resolution advisor. Most concerns are resolved at this first stage.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate the matter to our internal ombudsperson, and afterwards to the independent consumer complaint body serving your province or territory.

Fraud prevention

Insurance fraud raises costs for everyone. We review claims and applications for indicators of fraud and cooperate with insurers, regulators and law enforcement where appropriate.

If you suspect fraudulent activity involving your policy or an EverNorth communication, report it to us in writing so we can investigate.
